Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist based at Basildon University Hospital, Essex.
Mr Thakur has three decades of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from India and the UK. He was a lecturer in Mumbai University following his medical graduation in Mumbai. He also carried out training in North East London rotation for 6 years before taking over as a consultant position in Basildon Hospital.
His special interests include minimal access surgery- Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Those of our patients who have fibroids or polyps can be seen and treated by Mr Thakur.
When not working, Mr Thakur indulges in his passion for longs walks in the rural country side listening to his favourite music. Unless ofcourse he is at the Lords Cricket stadium watching test matches or playing senior cricket league.
