Inducing Ovulation Treatment

Egg production necessary for fertilization and creation of an embryo. Irregular ovulation or lack of ovulation (“anovulation”) can cause infertility, since there is no egg for the sperm to fertilise. Induced ovulation treatment can stimulate the ovaries to release produce and release an egg, helping you overcome this hurdle.

Sometimes, infertily may be caused by irregular or absent ovulation, meaning that there is no egg produced to be fertilised. You can overcome this by choosing induced ovulation, which stimulates the ovaries to released an egg.

Our team comprises 100% qualified doctors who are experts in their respective fields. We take pride in having a dedicated and compassionate staff who are committed to delivering exceptional care to every individual who walks through our doors. Our doctors undergo rigorous training and stay updated with the latest research and developments to offer the most effective and innovative treatments available.

What Causes Lack Of Ovulation?

You may not ovulate regularly for a number of reasons, including:

  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
  • Ovarian failure (premature menopause, etc.).
  • Severe stress
  • Weight issues (too much or too less)
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Certain medications

How is Ovulation Induced?

Ovulation induction involves closely monitoring your ovaries using ultrasound (USG) throughout your cycle. Follicles in the ovary are stimulated to grow (using medicines from the 3rd till 8th day of your period) and release eggs (using a “trigger” injection). Oral tablets like Clomiphene or Letrozole, Metformin, and/or injections of follicle-stimulating hormones (FSH) are used to stimulate the ovary to produce egg-containing follicles. The ovulation trigger injection is called Ovitrelle or Zivofert, which mimic the action of the natural hormone, LH.

The treatment method will vary based on your specific ovulation issue, but the goal is the same – to ensure the predictable release of an egg for fertilization, either naturally through intercourse or via intra-uterine insemination (IUI).

Minimizing the Risk of Multiple Births

A potential risk of induced ovulation is the release of multiple eggs, increasing the likelihood of multiple births, particularly twins. We carefully monitor ovarian responses to minimize this risk and may recommend cancellation of the cycle if the chance of multiple births is too high. A cancelled cycle does not count against your multi-cycle package, ensuring no financial loss to you. We are committed to ensuring that you get the safest of treatment without any commercial considerations.

Fixed Fee Packages for Peace of Mind

Our fixed fee packages allows you to know the cost of your treatment upfront, regardless of the number of cycles and scans needed. This approach lets us make decisions based on clinical information rather than cost considerations. If a treatment cycle is cancelled due to poor response or due to too many follicles being created, there is no financial stress to you.

We are among the few centers in the UK that do not charge for consultations and monitoring during such cycles, so your only expense is the cost of medications.
